Speedmaster designed their Heavy Duty 164-Tooth Internal Balance Flexplate to be a direct-fit upgrade for any Mustangs equipped with a 429 or 460 engine. The plate features an extra-thick steel body that is double welded to the ring gear for excellent rigidity. It is then anodized for corrosion resistance in humid climates. The durable steel body ensures the plate can handle the increased power demands of today’s engines.
