My current set up, 91' 302 HO with E303 roller cam, hydraulic roller lifters, is getting new pedestal to stud conversion kit. Which push rods I will need? Why are some not for use with guide plates and some are?

The push rods for your pedestal to stud mount conversion are # 9655, 5/16" 6.385" OAL, and they are hardened for guide plates. ALL applications that have guide plates, require the use of hardened push rods, without hardened push rods, the guide plates will allow them to wear through like an hour glass and eventually will break into 2-pieces.
