Ford Racing Starter Index Separator Plate for 4R70/4R75/4R100 Automatic Transmissions in Mustangs with 4.6L or 5.4L Engines.

Ford Racing's starter index plate, which goes between the block and the transmission bellhousing, positions the starter to ensure proper starter drive to flywheel ring gear alignment.

This starter index plate fits 4.6 and 5.4L modular engines with production automatic transmissions 4R70, 4R75, 4R100.

*Will not fit the 5R55S transmission used on 2005-2010 GT Mustangs.
*This separator plate can also be used when attaching a 4R70W transmission to 2005-2010 Mustang GTs or 2007-2012 GT500s.
