Scott Drake: The 2005-2009 stainless steel '60-'61 aluminum hood pin kit is race inspired, designed with the instructions from Carol Shelby. It comes with mounting brackets for 2005-2009, 60-61 aluminum billet machined top plates with Delrin mounting plates so that you don't scratch the pins or your hood, 304 stainless steel lanyards and pins. They'll never rust. It's a great kit, easy to install. We sell a ton of them.

Excellent Product and Fit - They Look Great
Installed these in a couple hours last week. The instructions are clear, fit is perfect and, since they are made specifically for the S196 (2005-2009) mustangs, they mount to existing bolts with no modification. Also, I really like the location on the hood since they leave adequate clearance for LeMans style stripes. Adding these to my car has totally changed the look and attitude, just what I wanted.
What stainless?
I bought a set and now the cable(which is crap steel encased in plastic is RUSTING AWAY and looks like crap)I wonder if this North American accessory originated in China like everthing else?
