Maximum Motorsports Torque Arm Rear Springs with a 375-440lb/in Spring Rate for 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004 Mustangs.

The Maximum Motorsports Torque Arm Rear Springs (42TA5) are designed to pair nicely with the Maximum Motorsports Torque Arm. These High-rate rear springs match the rear wheel rate to the front wheel rate with front coil-overs and a torque-arm suspension system. When a rear coil-over conversion isn't appropriate, these high-rate stock-location springs can often be matched with front coil-overs or stock-location front springs to provide a good handling balance and level ride quality.

Features and Benefits:
- Fits 1979-2004 Mustangs with Solid Rear Axle
- Progressive Spring Rate (375-440 LB/IN Spring Rate Range)
- Mounts in the Stock Location
- Silver Powder Coated Finish
- Proudly Manufactured in the USA!
- Sold as a Pair (Rear Only)
- Designed to Work with Torque Arms
- Lowers Rear End 0.75"-1.25"

The bind-free Maximum Motorsports Torque-arm increases rear grip so much, that the rear spring rate must be raised to increase rear roll resistance. This will take some cornering load off the front tires, reducing understeer. Installing these high-rate springs will help restore the handling balance after a torque-arm installation and let your Mustang use the torque-arm suspension to its full potential. The result is a Mustang that corners harder and faster, and throws the power down better than ever before.

Please Note:
- To achieve the best handling balance, front coil-over spring rates of 300-350 lb/in (for a standard 4-link suspension) or rates of 225-325 lb/in (for a torque-arm suspension) require rear springs with a relatively high rate to match the front wheel rate.
- The Maximum Motorsports Torque Arm Rear Springs will NOT work on 1999-2004 Cobra Mustangs with an IRS (Independent Rear Suspension).
