Custom Autosound Antenna Hidden Amplified 104" is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from spectacular upgrade over stock After ihad purchased a billit antenna delete plug my radio stations literally halved and the channels I did get I only got those half the time. When I came across the powered hidden antenna my enthusiasm for getting all the original stations back was far exceeded for I got the regular stations and many more that I didn't even knew were accessible in my area. Best item I've bought so far :)

Product Questions

I bought one these for my motorcycle because I didn't like the whip antenna. Mine has a red wire and a black wire. Red goes to a switched 12 volt right? What do yo do with the black?

Asked by: Flomar1955
To the radio, perhaps? I can't find a wiring diagram anywhere for it, but that's a safe guess.

I am restoring a 66 Fastback.. I didn't cut a hole in the fender because I wanted to use a hidden antenna. The video says it works best if put on glass...Was wondering if I could tuck this in the roof area as I install the headliner. Will this work well?

Asked by: 1BAD66GT
No, it won't work that way. It needs to be mounted on glass so it has an unobstructed way to receive the radio signal. Putting it in the roof area hides it under metal, which is one of the worst ways to receive audio waves.

By Bill Tumas: We're here with this Amplified Electronic Antenna. This Antenna is universal. It will fit any Mustang, or any other vehicle for that matter. It receives both AM and FM signals, and does need to be mounted on your glass for premium reception. It does require 12-volts to be run to it, because it is powered. It comes with a 104" cable, allowing you to mount it pretty much anywhere. If you're looking to customize the look of your Mustang by shaving the antenna, our Amplified Antenna is an excellent choice.
