Eastwood 2K Epoxy Primer Gray 12Oz. Aerosol Can is rated 3.7143 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sprays nicely This primer sprays a nice mist almost like a spray gun. I haven't top coated it yet but the surface looks good. My only issue is that because it sprays such a fine mist, you have to make a lot of passes and I ran out of paint before I was completely comfortable with the amount of coverage. Had to order another can, but the product itself is very nice.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappaointed I purchased this paint and found the directions for use simple and to the point. I was very satisfied for approximately the first half of the contents, the spray pattern was good and flow even. The spray pattern and flow consistency deteriorated greatly beyond the first half, however, and became progressively worse.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from rock solid Great product.. This primer covers great and sands the next day like magic. Be sure to wear a mask and shoot within 8 to 10 inches or you get overspray on fresh paint. Can holds 2 oz. more than your color paint can so be sure to buy enough paint to cover.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent, for a spray can While there is no substitute for a nice HVLP gun, this is about as close as you can get. Plan on using at least two cans of primer and four of color to spray an engine compartment. It works excellent for what it is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Durable Great product! great adhesion and cures relatively fast. Top coated with extreme chassis black. Finish looks great and very scratch resistant. Yes you MUST wear a respiratory.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product Good product and spray nozzle had nice fan pattern. Set up parts to paint so spray can is mostly in upright position to get full use of contents.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Turned out so, so I ended up with mixed results on the 2k Aero-spray grey. Some of the primer came out very smooth and laid down very, very nice. As well as when I've used an air gun in the past. And then a couple came out gritty and not smooth at all and did not lay down nearly as nice. The spray stream sputtered from time to time on the ones that turned out poorly. Completely different result from the same product. Granted I was doing this in my garage and not a paint booth, but the conditions during the spray times were almost identical as was the prep of the metal and I followed the instructions on the can to a T (including tossing cans that were outside the pot life). The first two cans were great. The third came out gritty. I thought ok, an anomaly. I sanded the gritty primer to smooth and sprayed it again with a new can...same results. These are floor pans that I am replacing and they will either be covered with a bed liner or with carpet at some point, so it will probably turn out ok for me. I will have to get some fine sand paper I think to smooth it out. I'd be reluctant to try this product again, especially if I was going to apply paint to it in a visible location on the truck.
