275/40ZR17 Pro-Trac Street Pro III RWL tire with a DOT-approved radial construction, built for classic muscle car and pony car fitments.
Raised white letter tires like this one became common in the late sixties on muscle cars such as the Pontiac GTO and pony cars like the Mustang. The tire's carcass carries white rubber built directly into the sidewall, and a curing mold vulcanizes and forms the letters before buffing reveals a bright white finish.
