Drake Muscle Cars Clear Anodized Fire Extinguisher Mount.

Many motorsports sanctioning bodies will require a fire extinguisher to be mounted in the vehicle when racing. This universal mount from Drake Muscle Cars can be mounted quickly and easily in your vehicle. The extinguisher is going to mount to one side of the bracket using clamps. And the other side of the mount can be mounted to a roll cage, roll bar, seat frame, or virtually anywhere. To remove it, you simply pull the Red quick release knob, and then you can slide it right off the bracket for quick access.

Bill: We’re here with Chris from Scott Drake, who brought us some new products to check out today. I'm familiar with this. I've actually been eyeing up one of these for my car. I know we have them black, but I don't know where to mount it. Tell us about the products you brought with us today.

Chris: This is actually the new clear anodized finish version we just got in stock. This is kind of a universal mount. Many guys are familiar with it mounting to the actual roll bars of their race cars.

What we also have are a few other different styles of the mount bar itself. The early version fits 65 to 68 Mustangs, mounts to the seat platform. The extinguisher mount itself screws directly to the front of that. Obviously, your extinguisher would mount here. There's the quick pull tab.

For you, since you've got a 2011, what we have is the seat mounts ... This is for electric seats. This is for manual seats. This mounts directly to the bar for the power seats. Obviously, the mount just screws in directly to the portions here. The manual seats in the same way just mounts directly to the bar. These mount directly to the actual mount itself.

Bill: Does it work with any 2005 through 2014?

Chris: 2005 to 14.

Bill: Are they sold separately or does the kit include both, depending on what you have?

Chris: They are sold separately. This is for power seats. This is for manual seats. The mount is obviously sold separately as well.

Bill: I know you guys don't offer a fire extinguisher with the kit, but which style is it designed to work with?

Chris: It's designed to accommodate any of the universal different styles of the fire extinguisher itself. You can use hose clamps or we do offer 2 different varieties of kits, one for the smaller diameter of fire extinguishers and one for the larger diameter of fire extinguishers.
