If you’re performing a 2013-2015 Coyote engine swap into an early-style chassis, then this Holley Terminator X Max EFI Kit is a perfect choice! This plug-and-play system is specifically engineered to work with early-style Coyote ignition coils and vehicles equipped with EV1 or EV6 fuel injectors to ensure a perfect fit. To maximize your Coyote’s potential, this system features fuel-learning technology, high-impedance drivers, a 1bar MAP sensor, and programmable inputs. The ECU’s pre-made base maps eliminate the need to tinker too long in the garage. This kit is perfect for newbies since it includes a 3.5” handheld touchscreen that has a calibration wizard, a customizable gauge display, and a tuning program. Precise readings and tuning control are a priority, which is why this system is equipped with a Bosch LSU 4.9 wideband O2 sensor. The high-impedance fuel injector drivers are designed to function with most OE injectors and Holley-brand ones (further information is included in the instructions). Depending on whether you have EV1 or EV6-style injectors, the injector harness you’ll need will be included. Four programmable inputs—12V, ground, 5V, and frequency—allow you to install additional pressure sensors, nitrous activation, a trans bike, or activation triggers. This kit works perfectly for boosted applications since the 1bar MAP sensor can be disabled and works with an external harness. Additionally, a terminated connector is included to ensure a seamless installation for boosted applications.
Boost and nitrous control programs built into the ECU let you control how much boost pressure is created and the delivery rate of N2O. Several boost control operating modes are available: boost vs. speed, vs. time, vs. gear, vs. RPM, and boost safeties. For ultimate control, the nitrous control program features a wet or dry channel, progressive or non-progressive channel, rich/lean safeties, and a target closed-loop AFR. To give you a near-infinite amount of table config options, the ECU has multiple advanced tables: 4x 1D tables, 1x 1D gear table, 4x 2D table, and 1x 2D gear tables!
Easily monitor the health of your Coyote with the onboard diagnostic LEDs, which show you ECU power, engine run, TPS calibration, cam signal, and much more. Your pre-existing Holley EFI accessories can have a new home: this system allows you to easily plug and play with your Holley analog gauges, shift lights, modules, or your pro dash. Vacuum hose adapters are included with this kit to ease the installation process. The system’s Engine Control Unit is small and compact, so you can install it almost anywhere as long as your diagnostic LEDs are facing up. Best of all, the EFI tuning software is free.
