This is made with a proprietary base media which is then treated with a hydrophobic water-repellent. The hydroshield is UV resistant, puncture resistant, and can block contaminants that are as small as .005”. The Injen (1033BLK) Black 6" x 5" x 5" Hydroshield is designed to stop contaminants from damaging or clogging the air filter, so that peak airflow and horsepower is not affected.
