The Injen Pre-Filter is built to standard dimensions, measuring eight inches tall with a 6-1/2-inch base and a 5-1/2-inch top. Installation of the Pre-Filter ensures maximum air filter efficiency! The Pre-Filter was developed to deflect particles down to .005 to prevent your air filter from becoming clogged. In doing so, the Hydroshield maintains optimal airflow and horsepower.

The Hydroshield Pre-Filter (1038BLK) features a proprietary base media topped with a hydrophobic water-repellent treatment. This treatment helps to repel water, but it is not waterproof. The Pre-Filter is further designed to resist UV damage and punctures while exhibiting elasticity characteristics so it can return to its original shape after servicing. However, the Hydroshield extends the time between servicing to save you time and money. Whether your application features a SuperNano-Web or eight-layer oiled cotton gauze air filter, the Pre-Filter is an excellent solution.
