Large tread blocks on the outer shoulder of the tire increase the amount of surface area contacting the road. This increases both cornering and dry performance. A continuous center rib sits between twin circumferential grooves. The center rib provides continuous contact with the road to increase the tire's stability and rigidity. This rib helps keep traction during hard braking and acceleration.

The twin grooves on either side of the rib channel water away from the tire. Quickly evacuating the water helps maintain traction through wet road conditions. 3D multiwave sipes were implemented to provide greater wet traction while solidifying the block to help reduce uneven wearing.

Nitto used advanced engineering software and specialized digital testing equipment to produce an exceptionally quiet tire. The asymmetrical tread pattern allows the tires to be rotated to combat uneven tire wear.
