PROFORM Universal Rod Bolt Stretch Gauge with Dial Indicator
PROFORM’s Universal Rod Bolt Stretch Gauge with a Dial Indicator allows you to check rod bolts properly and offers a highly accurate way to measure torque pre-load. Featuring a special high-tension spring, this gauge remains positioned on the bolt during tightening, with adjustability for bolts up to 2.75” long. You simply position the Stretch Gauge over the length of the rod before applying torque, take and record a measurement, torque down to proper torque settings, and take another measurement. Then you calculate the difference and check the manufacturer’s specifications.
