Borgeson Power Steering Hose Saginaw Pump Set 289/302/351W 1965-1970

I recently installed the kit on my 65 Mustang. Everything went well until I tried to install the hose. The ends do not line up with the pump and steering box. After a lot of twisting and turning, I finally got it to match. The Borgenson box must have been tapped badly because it was hard to screw the fitting in or the adapter. After all that I seem to have stripped the thread on the hose. Now I am faced with either buying a new one or trying to rethread the fitting and hole and hope for the best. I bought the kit separately but I should have gotten it all together. If you are installing it on your Mustang I would suggest putting the hoses on the box before you install it and then twist the hose to match the steering pump.
