The locks mount to the hood and line up with the mounting pin that’s placed on the core support (or any other brackets under the hood). When you close your hood, the fasteners automatically latch to the ball pin studs and won’t release the hood until you press the center button. Each component in this kit is made of either durable billet aluminum or stainless steel, and you can even paint the hood pins to match the rest of your vehicle’s exterior!
