Addco Complete 1" Front Sway Bar Kit for 1974-1978 Mustangs.

Your stock suspension does an adequate job in most situations. Where you may run into a problem is when you need to make a sudden lane change to avoid an accident or when you find that curve in the road is a little sharper than you thought. As your vehicle begins to turn, the body will “roll,” transferring weight to the outside wheels. This causes the front end to “plow”, or what is technically known as understeer. The result: Your vehicle wants to keep going straight and you’re out of control.

With the addition of a set of ADDCO anti-sway bars, body roll and understeer will be greatly reduced resulting in a safer, more balanced suspension. This kit features a gloss black finish.

- Front sway Bar: 1" high carbon steel, hardened and stress relieved

*This front sway bar must be used if you have an existing sway bar on your vehicle. Addco's bar is larger diameter than the factory bar, but uses the same mounting points as the original factory bar. It requires the use of special hardware that was factory installed. This kit may not contain all the hardware that is required for installation, therefore it cannot be used without the original hardware.
