Ford Racing 8.8" Low Profile Rear Axle Girdle.

Light-weight 356T6 aluminum casting replaces rear cover on 8.8". Load bolts provide additional support for differential bearing caps. This is a great option for 1985-2004 Mustangs that have added a panhard bar. The low profile allows it to fit most panhard bars.

This will fit all 2005-2013 Mustang GTs, GT500s and Boss 302s. This will also fit 1985-2004 Mustangs with an 8.8" rear, except 1999-2004 IRS Cobras.

We’re here with the Rear Axle Girdle from Ford Racing. This Rear Axle Girdle will fit all 1986-2014 V8 Mustangs equipped with an 8.8 inch solid rear axle; will not fit the ’99-2004 Cobra. It’s made of cast aluminum, features a drain plug, fill plug, and two bolts on your differential main caps for added strength. It’s designed to clear all factory and after-market panhard bars as well, so it’s very low profile. The Girdle comes with everything necessary for installation. Although it does come with a gasket, we do suggest the use of a silicone for a better seal.
