This bar and the same one in chrome will clear the factory manifold ('05-09 ) cover and the four bolt mounting makes a big difference you can feel. If you plan on keeping your engine cover or even if you don't this is a very nice piece indeed.
I finally put mine on and it was really easy. Solid construction and a great add on. Also it was a good price and it came really fast.
Just installed in my '05 v6 convertible, took all of 10 minutes in the dark with a flashlight!
Wasnt expecting too much was pleasantly surprised, took it for a ride over semi rough roads and the slight shake was gone and felt tighter, almost like a new set of shocks and tires feels on an older car. 2 days to ship and well worth what I paid.
This is a serious piece of hardware. Heavey duty, great welds, well made. I like it because it covers all 4 tower bolts. Great engineeing at a very good price and looks good as well.
Great brace, only one I could find that covers all the bolts. Put in 2009 V6, if someone tell's you that they make no difference, then they haven't used one. Tightened up the front end emensly. Feel's like I'm driving a full framed car. They are putting these stock on the new 'Stangs, they had them on the old 68's, why not on mine?
