DEI Exhaust Wrap 2”X25’ Black Titanium Single Roll

Capable of withstanding 1800°F of direct heat, this wrap is made from pulverized lava rock that is then stranded into a fiber material for a durable and reliable weave. It handles intermittent heat up to 2500°F as well, leading to cooler under-hood temperatures that improve horsepower without altering high exhaust gas velocity.

The wrap is perfect for headers and exhausts since it reduces heat soak issues, prevents burns, and protects other heat-sensitive under-hood components. It’s even resistant to chemical oil spills and vibrational breakdown to guarantee all-around durability. It has an extremely malleable design to allow you a tight, secure wrap all without the need for pre-wetting, making installation a breeze!

Tech Tips:
- The black color will fade over time, especially under higher heat applications like racing and turbo manifolds. To extend the finish’s life, it can be coated with the HT Silicone Coating Spray, sold separately.
- DEI does NOT recommend wrapping titanium exhausts because the alloys used in these types of systems tend to be thin and are designed to quickly dissipate heat. The wrap would cause it to hold in more heat, turning the alloy brittle and prone to premature cracking. For titanium applications, DEI recommends using alternatives like flexible heat shields.
- We do not recommend wrapping catalytic convertors, as overheating can lead to a reduced converter lifetime. Instead, you can create your own shield using the DEI Floor & Tunnel Shield (P/N: DEI50501).
- This wrap is not designed to be moved or removed after it’s been heat cycled. After the wrap’s fibers have been heated, they lose their initial flexibility. For this reason, you should avoid wrapping any flex-pipes or flex-joints.
