The new 50 state legal Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger System will allow you to boost your Mustang to a very impressive 466 horsepower and 439 ft./lbs. of torque. This system was exclusively designed by Edelbrock to provide instant, reliable and safe horsepower for a stock Mustang 4.6L with only 5 psi of boost for minimum stress on the engine.
The core of the system is the all new Eaton Gen VI TVS supercharger rotating assembly. Eaton's assembly features a four lobe design with 160 degrees of twist for maximum flow, minimum temperature rise and quiet operation for excellent drivability. The supercharger assembly has been integrated into the intake manifold for a seamless design with minimal components, eliminating the possibility of vacuum leaks between a gasket surface. Edelbrock's unique inverted supercharger assembly is placed low in the valley, allowing for an incredible industry leading 15" of intake runner length for maximizing low end torque. An integrated bypass valve helps eliminate parasitic loss under light throttle for improved mileage potential.
The system breathes through a specially engineered 85mm electronic throttle body matched with the most unique and efficient inlet configuration on the market. This combination results in a shorter less restrictive intake path for improved air flow, eliminating the need for a jack-shaft. Keeping the air cool is a 110 square inch high capacity air to water intercooler and dual core low temp heat exchanger. This intercooler is the largest available on the market today. Clears factory Bullitt strut tower brace and most aftermarket braces.

This supercharger kit is one of the best I have seen and used . The appearance is great, The power made over stock was sick which means great. The kit went on like a charm. The tune was smooth. I add a comp cam and smaller pulley which brings my stang on the border of the big 500 hp.
I recently completed a self-installation of the Edelbrock E-Force 1580 supercharger kit on my 07 Mustang GT. I purchased the Edelbrock unit because of the completeness of the kit, the looks of the unit and the excellent reviews the E-Force received in the many write-ups I found. I upgraded the base kit by adding the Comp Air kit, 3.25 pulley, Kenny Bell Boost-a-Pump, and custom tune. The step-by-step installation instructions are very complete and I only noticed two omissions. The only problems encountered involved the fuel rail bolt clearances and an incorrect alternator pulley bolt included in the kit. If you have ever installed an intake manifold, changed and radiator, replaced an alternator and performed basic car stereo wiring you have all the skills you need to do this install yourself. There are a few special tools required which are detailed in the instructions and as with any mechanical work a good set of tools makes the job much easier.
