Had them clear plastic ones for the '65 for years, they just look awful. Replaced them for these chrome ones, they look great and they also have felt on the inside so the door lock knob won't rattle, easy to install, but they will be tighter if you remove the door panel and bend the tabs up more with a screwdriver.
Far better than the plastic version that fits loosely. These were fairly snug but were perfect after loosening a corner of the door panel and bending the tabs outward from inside the door. The felt adds to the quality look as well as the fit.
these are far better than the cheaper plastic ones although a little harder to fit. Done best while door is apart however with a small screwdriver you can fit them without removing door panels and such. I would buy these all the time i would not waste my money on cheaper plastic type
